Mr. Poquette brings a strong background in healthcare administration to NHLC. He served as the President and CEO of Memorial Hospital in North Conway, New Hampshire for 29 years. "I believe my many years of experience as a successful small/rural critical access hospital CEO will be beneficial to the board of trustees, employees, providers, and the community which NHLC serves. The unique partnership between NHLC and Wyoming Medical Center allows the citizens of this community to access resources, services, and expertise a facility this size might not be able to afford to offer. I'm excited to continue to build upon that relationship and examine additional avenues to benefit Niobrara County."

His educational background includes graduate work in the MBA Corporate Financial program at Middle Tennessee State University; a BSRT-Radiologic Technology (Business Administration/Minor) from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska and an MHA in Hospital and Health Care Administration from St. Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri.

Mr. Poquette is a Life Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. He enjoys living in the community of Lusk and has a strong belief in community involvement.
