NHLC Board of Trustees is pleased to announce a four year contractual agreement with Dr. Thomas Hoskins. Dr. Hoskins will provide emergency room and hospital coverage. Dr. Hoskins will be a full time employee of the hospital district. He will also help direct training for nursing staff in areas of patient care and use of ER and hospital equipment. Dr. Hoskins is Board Certified in family medicine and has been exclusively practicing family and emergency medicine in Wyoming, Colorado, Califorina, and Illinois over the past 30 years. He is a graduate of the University of Illinois, College of Medicine, a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians and a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians. Dr. Hoskins has cared for many of the residents of Niobrara County in his previous role as Medical Director of Emergency Services at MHCC in Douglas as well as working part time since Feb. of 2008 at NHLC. NHLC is excited to have Dr. Hoskins join our team and he looks forward to being able to provide those same services to old friends closer to home.
