Julia Mason and staff receive a commendation for being one of the best performing sentinel providers. "Your organization did an extraordinary job by submitting specimens for influenza testing at the Wyoming Public Health Laboratory and achieving a 100% reporting record on ILINet. This fulfills both componets of influenza surveillance during the 2010-2011 influenza season. With your efforts, your organization has affirmed itself as a model influenza sentinel provider for the state of Wyoming." Clayton Van Houten, Jr. M.S. Emerging Diseases-Health Statistics Section Chief for the Wyoming Department of Health said in a letter of commendation to Julia Mason RN Infection Preventionist. CEO Bob Brummond said Julia does a great job with her various roles at NHLC as evidenced by this commendation. Julia is a valuable asset to NHLC and we are lucky to have her.
